Shauna Cooper, founder and CEO of shaunacooperinc., and the chicagohugs initiative has built a career in Global Brand Management and Integrated Marketing with top Fortune and Global 100 brands over the past 15 years. With a degree in Media Studies, Public Relations & Global Strategic Communication, Shauna has expanded her skill set to include Global Brand Strategy and Marketing while negotiating the corporate ladder at Motorola, Nokia and the Walgreen Company. With years as a Copywriter, Project Manager, and Global Lead - she has been able to create product lines and brand extensions that still live on retail shelves today.
As a corporate professional she gained key insights into how brands create value and how they gain traction, through research, listening, and great strategies. As a founder of her own consultancy, she’s gained insight into building a brand and a business from scratch using many of the tools she’s learned over the years – while learning many more. With a core focus on Strategic Integration and Social Entrepreneurship, Shauna’s vision is to help small businesses, startups, individuals, not-for-profits, Fortune 500 companies and communities not only bring their brands to the forefront, but to elevate their brands to new levels. She is at her best when brainstorming, creating strategies out of great ideas and moving people to where they dream to be.
